Educators are rapidly embracing the value of coding.

During my first postdoc at Vanderbilt University (Nashville), I helped to deliver a science programme to talented high school students. This was in 2016-2018, and at that time there was already a big focus on coding within education. Students saw the potential and time-saving aspects of R Studio for making histograms, for example, and so many students were excited about making apps. If you are a high school teacher, I can show you some cool features of R Studio that will have your students excited!

Even at the college and university level, I often see professors being happy that their students know how to code, but don’t know how to code themselves. If this sounds like you, don’t worry. I can help you to ensure your whole team is using modern up-to-date tools to effectively approach any science question.

As coding is recognised as a key skill for the future, let’s work together to get students ready for what’s to come!
